Our African Milk Tree plant has been with us for years. We originally planted it in our yard at our old house. When we moved to our new apartment, we knew we had to bring it with us. We took clippings from the plant and carefully transported them to our new balcony garden paradise.
In the Beginning
At first, we were worried about how the plant clippings would adapt to their new environment. Our old yard had plenty of space, sunlight, and fresh air. Our balcony was much smaller and shaded by nearby buildings. But we made it make it work.
We started by placing the plants in a spot that received the most sunlight on our balcony. We also made sure to water it regularly and fertilize it with the right nutrients. Slowly but surely, we started to see new growth from the plants. Beautiful new green shoots started to emerge, and the plant began to thrive in its new environment.
